The Aurora State College of Technology was awarded as one of the Top Ranking SUCs with the most number of programs awarded with a Candidate Status by the Accrediting Agency for Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).

ASCOT is one of the Top 11 Ranking SUCs in the country with thirteen of its programs awarded candidate status, two of which were already Level 1 accredited. The award was received by Dr. Eusebio V. Angara, former College President, along with Dr. Evi Q. Fontanos,Dr. Silvestre C. Escueta and Dr. Ma Luz F. Cabatan in the awarding ceremony held during the 28th AACCUP Annual National Conference last February 16-18, 2015 at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
