Excitement and joy filled the Aurora State College of Technology Covered Court yesterday, October 23, 2016 as the College held its 23rd Commencement Exercises and the 2nd Midterm Graduation ceremony for students who finished their course of study at the end of First Semester, SY 2016-2017.

The Guest of Honor and Commencement Speaker, Dr. Caridad O. Abuan, Director of CHED Regional Office III delivered an inspiring and uplifting keynote address which centred on the celebration’s theme, “Meeting the Challenges of Internationalization through Excellent Higher Education Program”.

Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, College President conferred the degrees and led the imposition of hoods and awarding of diplomas and certificates to a total of 26 graduates in the Graduate Program, and 29 in the Undergraduate Program.

In addition to the celebration this year that made the event more momentous was the awarding of Plaques of Recognition to the 72 Alumni who successfully passed the PRC Licensure Examinations in their respective fields this year.

Congratulatory remarks filled the venue after the ceremony as every graduate share their success with poses and smiles with their family, friends, and mentors.
