Participants and Finalists of this year’s Search for Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines
With the theme, “Pusong Central Luzon, Pusong Bayani”, the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines Region 3 Alumni Community of Heroes (TOSP R3ACH), in cooperation with the Commission on Higher Education Region 3 and with
Aurora State College of Technology as Regional Partner, conducted the Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines Regional Week.

In line with the event is the conduct of the BAYANITaktakan: Youth Forum which was held at the ASCOT General Education Building, Upper Lobby last April 25, 2014 and was attended by student leaders from the province.

Dr. Eusebio V. Angara together with the ASCOT Faculty warmly welcomes the participants and finalists of this year’s Search for Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines. He personally congratulates the finalists and the organizers for the excellent job well done and also challenged the ASCOT student leaders to make it on the next year’s batch of TOSP Finalists. He inspired everyone in his remarks where he stressed the distinct characteristics a good leader must possess.

Highlight of the activity was the presentation of the Top 20 Finalists that was immediately followed by the panel discussion with TOSP Alumni which aims to establish an upbeat approach on the social issues involving the youth
and the community, allowing them to become active community nation builders. Among the speakers were, Mr. Ian Christopher B. Alfonso, Ms. Loreen P. Agulan and Mr. Jonathan De Quiroz, who shared their personal stories and experiences being a leader and a hero in their own simple way.
