On November 26,2010 to December 19, 2010, ASCOT President, Dr. Eusebio V. Angara travelled to the Netherlands to attend a conference on Leadership and Management of Higher Education Institutions, at the Maastricht School of Management (MSM).

Delegates from different countries attended the event, with only two representatives from Asia. Dr. Angara was chosen to represent the Higher Education Institutions of the Philippines.

At the closing ceremony on December 17, 2010, Dr. Angara received a surprise Leadership Excellence Award, from the MSM Program Manager, Mr. Dorus Evekink.
