Baseball coach Ricardo Gonzales assured that the ASCOT baseball team made their dream a reality by hooking up the silver medal in the last year’s SUC III Olympics held at the Bulacan Sports Complex. For the first time, ASCOT batters reigned supreme against the defending champion NEUST. They ranked first place in their bracket leaving BPSU in second with a score of 4-2 and NEUST in third with a score of 14-2 bringing ASCOT to the finals.

“Motivation, teamwork and God’s will ang nagdala sa amin dito,” said Gonzales, referring to the ASCOT-BSU final match. “We believe that with the proper training that we have, and God’s permission we can put ASCOT back into baseball prominence not only in Region III but also in the National Level,” he added.
