The College President graced the Opening of 15TH PHILIPPINE SOCIETY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EDUCATORS (PSITE) Region 3 General Assembly and Election of Officers at the Pavilion Hall Costa Pacifica, Baler, Aurora this April 20, 2017. In this historic event that marks the first ever PSITE assembly that is held in the magnificent province of Aurora, Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes welcomed the participants that are composed of leading IT personalities, corporate executives, respected persons from the academe and other shapers of ICT in the country.

The college president called for a more comprehensive integration among the members of PSITE and other stakeholders, and to continue bringing positive impact to communities, specially those in the rural areas. Underlining the heart of the event, to strengthen the tree philosophical pillars of PSITE Region3 : IDEATE, INTEGRATE, IDEALIZE.

The Sentro Baler was once again filled with aspiring graduates and rejoicing families in the occasion of the ASCOT 24th Commencement Exercises held last April 7, 2017. This year’s Commencement Exercises marks the largest graduating class in the College’s history with a total of 707 successful candidates, 11 of which will be graduating with latin honors.
Prior to the ceremony, a Baccalaureate Mass was officiated by Rev.Father Baltazar Nonato.
Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, ASCOT President led the imposition of hoods, and awarding of diplomas and certificates to 45 graduates in the Graduate Program, 334 graduates in the Undergraduate Programs and 328 graduates for the Diploma and Certificate Courses.
Aurora State College of Technology commended its eleven (11) dedicated faculty and personnel who have reached certain service milestones during the 24th ASCOT Commencement Exercises held last April 7, 2017 at Sentro Baler, Baler, Aurora. This loyalty award gives the College the opportunity to express its gratitude to its personnel who have exceptionally performed their duties in serving others and for their unfailing support and dedication to the Institution.

The awardees, who were in public service for 20, 15 and 10 years were given plaque of recognition and cash gifts as recompense for their service done.
Honor Graduates of Class 2017
ASCOT Class of 2017 is led by eleven honor graduates, nine of which are from the Undergraduate Program whom will be conferred the Latin Honor of Cum Laude and two With Honors from the Diploma and Certificate Courses. The eleven honor graduates will be receiving their medals on the occasion of the ASCOT 24th Commencement Exercises which will be held on April 7, 2017 at Sentro Baler.
Topping the list of graduating student is Dave Patrick L. Ruiz, Bachelor of Elementary Education from Dipaculao, Aurora who is also a recipient of Leadership Award and Academic Distinction Medal from Cong. Ann K. Hofer. Ruiz finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education under the UCPB – Coco-Foundation Scholarship Program.Moreover, four Bachelor of Secondary Education graduates namely Janus U. Valencia, Jeseree Ann C. Bitong, Jovelyn V. Dacalcap and Karen Joy C. Cayetano also finished their degrees as Cum Laude graduates making the Department of Teacher Education the Department with most number of honor graduates. Continue reading
ASCOT and the Provincial Government of Aurora signed a memorandum of understanding that will pave the way for the development of the Ermita Hill. The MOU formalizes the turnover of the management of Ermita Hill to Aurora State College of Technology. Ermita Hill is part of the 196.6 hectares declared as the ASCOT School Site Civil Reservation endorsed by the Republic Act No. 7664 by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 559.
ASCOT President, Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes and Aurora Governor, Hon. Gerardo A. Noveras signed the memorandum of understanding as witnessed by the Hon. Bella Angara Castillo, Representative of the Province of Aurora last March 3, 2017 in front of the ASCOT Officials, members of the ASCOT Faculty and Staff, Unit Head of the different offices of the Provincial Capitol, LGUs and other stakeholders.
