Envisioning a community connected and enabled through the power of communication, Aurora State College of Technology through the Information and Communication Technology Center partnered with SMART Communications, Inc. in launching the ASCOT Information Board, the first Infoboard Service in the province of Aurora.

ASCOT Infoboard Service is a web-based communication tool for sending and receiving information within the College. It enables the students, faculty, staff, and even alumni who were enrolled in the service to access relevant information and important announcements such as class suspensions, schedule of activities, advisories, reports, news and other useful information via SMS anytime anywhere for free.

SMART Communications Representatives, Mr. Ryan Muñoz, Regional Manager-Community Marketing Department of Smart Communications, Inc. , Mr. Lucito Mactal, Smart Community Marketing Officer, Mr. Chuck Tuazon, Distributor Business Manager and Mr. Arnel Querijero, Aurora Telecom Owner were present during the launch held last October 11, 2013. Wrapping up the Infoboard Launch was the Turn-Over Ceremony where Dr. Eusebio V. Angara, College President formally received the service through sending a broadcast message at the moment announcing the official launch and recognizing the SMART Communication for bringing the technology in the institution.
