July 12, 2024 – the Aurora State College of Technology’s School of Information Technology under the leadership of Dean Mayreen V. Amazona, DIT held its Recognition Day at the Baler Convention Center. The event honored the dedication and success of 143 graduates from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program and 82 graduates from the Associate in Computer Technology program. This year, ASCOT has introduced individual recognition days for each school to accommodate the growing number of graduates, making the celebrations more special and personal.
 
Ms. Lara Melisa Cabig, an alumna batch 2014 and former AiTech President 2012, delivered an inspiring address that resonated deeply with the audience, emphasizing, “At the end of all the hardships and successes, never forget to thank yourselves for achieving and conquering your academic challenges.”
 
Geoco Jonn O. Rigor, a Cum Laude graduate, delivered words of gratitude that reflected the collective sentiment of the graduating class. “Let us show gratitude to our peers and instructors who have been instrumental in our journey to success at ASCOT,” he said.
 
As graduates departed with their well-earned honors, they carried with them the spirit of ASCOT and a promise to make a positive impact in the world.
