July 11, 2024 – the newly elected officers of the ASCOT Supreme College Student Council (SCSC) took their oath of office in a ceremony led by Dr. Alma Bayudan, Director of the Student Affairs Services Office.
The new SCSC officers are:

Christian Mari E. Marigmen, Vice President for Casiguran

Before the official turnover, the outgoing SCSC President, Laurence Amazona, gave a brief speech. “Wala pong perpektong leader at hindi po akong perpektong leader. Nagpapasalamat ako sa pagkakataong ibinigay sa akin para mapaglingkuran ang kolehiyo at ang aking mga kapwa estudiyante, he said.
Following him, the incoming SCSC President, Jawnel O. Baldonade, also addressed the audience. “Isang malaking hamon para sa akin ang pagiging SCSC President. Hindi ko akalaing ako ay magiging isang student leader. Akala ko noon ang buhay ko ay iinog lamang sa apat na sulok ng entablado bilang kontesera sa pageant at sa apat na sulok ng aking parlor. Pero narealized ko ang kahalagan ng edukasyon, bumalik ako sa pagaaral hindi lamang para sa aking sarili kung hindi para maging inspirasyon sa nakararami” he said.
The turnover ceremony featured a symbolic exchange of key responsibilities, marking the official transition of leadership.
The event was also attended by Chrystal Faye Salazar, CPA – SCSC Adviser for Finance, and Ms. Amparo Roberta A. Espinosa, ASCOT SCSC Adviser.
This event marks a new chapter for the ASCOT SCSC, as the newly elected officials are ready to lead and serve the student body with dedication and integrity.
