July 18, 2024 – The School of Industrial Technology (SInT) at Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) held a special recognition ceremony to honor the achievements of its graduates, ASCOT Gymnasium. This year, for the first time, the recognition rites were held separately before the college commencement exercises on July 19 at Baler Convention Center.

Under the guidance of School Dean Annie R. Capin, 175 undergraduate and 3 certificate program graduates marked the conclusion of their educational journey.

Guest speaker Ms. Lian D. Angara emphasized the significance of passion in one’s profession, stating, “Love what you do, because when you start working, you won’t feel tired anymore.” Her words resonated deeply with the graduates, inspiring them to pursue their careers with dedication and enthusiasm.

Atty. Nikki M. Nicolas also addressed the graduates, imparting wisdom and encouragement. “Have a passion for excellence and an obsession with success” she remarked, motivating the students to strive for greatness in their future endeavors.

The ceremony included special recognition for outstanding students across various categories, celebrating their exceptional achievements and the supportive environment at ASCOT.
